Millions of Cats ─ Analysis

 The very old man and the very old woman are protagonists, the very old man is round character, but the very old woman is flat character. The reason is that the very old man was hesitant when he saw trillions of cats. But, he becomes pleased to treat the only cat intently in the end. Other millions of cats, billions of cats and trillions of cats are foil character, and all of them are round characters. The trillions of cats are amicable at first. However, they become inharmonious and begin to quarrel after the very old man told them that he can only choose one cat. The ways characters are revealed are "What the narrator says about the character" and "What the character actually does". The setting is backdrop because the author said "Once upon a time" at first. The narrative point of view is Omniscient Narrator. The plot is dramatic. The problem is that the very old man and woman didn't have any posterity, so they are very lonely. In order to solve this unhappy problem, they decided to keep a sweet little cat. The man was hesitant to choose a cat, so he attracted trillions of cats to his house. Fortunately, they find a thin and scraggly cat to keep, and then they live a happy life.
 The first moral is "Do not be hesitant, or you will have none." The second moral is "The appearance is not everything. We can change it with our great efforts." The author use easy words, short sentences, dialogue, and some onomatopoeia.

 In my opinion, although the pictures are not so colorful, the simple structures are easy to know. The easy words and the repeated sentences are both jammy to children. Besides, the onomatopoeia can attract children's attentions. The most important thing is that the author uses cat to be the main idea. Most children are interested in keeping animals, so this book can teach children a little bit about how to keep a cat. And they cannot abandon animals, even though the animal is not beautiful.  Although, I know that we cannot see trillions of cats in one place, especially in a hill. They cannot drink all of the water and eat all of grass.

Shrek ─ Analysis

 Shrek is antagonist and flat character because he is always bad to others. Shrek's parents, witch, peasant, dragon, donkey, knight, and the most stunningly ugly princess are foil character. And all of them are flat characters. The way characters are revealed are "What the narrator says about the character", "What the other characters say about the character" and "What the character actually does". The setting is backdrop, and it doesn’t give accurate background. The narrative point of view is Omniscient Narrator, and the plot is dramatic plot. The beginning of the story is that Shrek has to go out in the world doing his share of damage, and the witch tells him to find his the most stunningly ugly princess. So, he begins his journey, and he find his princess in the end.
 The first moral is "Do not judge others with their appearances." The second moral is "No matter how bad you are, the one who truly loves you must appear. So, do not be disappointed about yourself.The author uses easy words, short sentences, dialogue, and some poem with rhyme.

 From my point of view, the reason I choose Shrek is that he is ugly enough to catch my attention. His green skin, red eyes, and ugly appearance are unique. Children can remember him easier. Besides, he is well-known to Children because of the Shrek movies. His unique appearance and his superpower can inspire children, and excite their imaginations. Although Shrek always does bad things, he doesn’t judge people with their appearances. Therefore, I think children can learn this essential thing through the whole story. The author uses colorful pictures to catch children's attention, and I think it is good. Besides, from my point of view, the reason that Shrek got married to the most stunningly ugly princess is that Shrek doesn't care the appearance of the ugly princess, neither does she. Therefore, they have a happy ending. If children criticize others' appearances at will, they might not have a happy ending like Shrek.

Donald And The Big Cheese:An Adventure in the Netherlands ─ Analysis

 Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck are protagonist. Hans is foil character. Donald becomes brave and kind, so he is round character. Daisy and Hans are always kind, so they are flat characters. The ways characters are revealed are "What the narrator says about the character" and "What the character actually does". The setting is integral because the author mentioned the Netherlands. The narrative point of view is Omniscient Narrator. The plot is dramatic. The problem is that Donald and Daisy go to Amsterdam, and they meet Hans, who often makes Daisy blushed. Donald wants to catch Daisy's attention, but he usually causes something bad on himself. Fortunately, Donald save Daisy' s life when she have a serious trouble in the end.
 First moral is "Do not use wrong way to catch other's attention, or you will cause something bad." Second moral is"Do not judge others by the first impression" The author use easy words, short sentences, and dialogue.

 Author uses Donald to represent little children, and Daisy represents their mother. I think the author wants to show children that whether their mothers have second baby or not, they should not be like Donald, who did a lot of bad things to catch Daisy’s attention. If they do it, they will cause trouble to their parents. After reading this book, I found that the books, which are published from Disney, help children be familiar with new information easier. The author gives children a lot of information about the Netherlands through this story, so children can image how the Netherlands looks like, even although they have never been to that. Besides, there are some extra texts and pictures in the end of this book to improve children’s knowledge, and I think it really helps a lot. What’s more, I also learned a lot of things about the Netherlands, especially Vincent van Gogh. I don’t know he is a Dutch before I read this book!!! In addition, I don’t know the town of Gouda is famous for its delicious cheese. However, in my opinion, the reason is that I don’t love cheese insanely.

Micky And Goofy Down Under:An Adventure In Australia ─ Analysis

 Micky and Goofy are protagonists. Sam, Dingo Dan, and Mr. Winsett are foil characters. The ways characters are revealed are "What the narrator says about the character" and "What the character actually does". The setting is integral. The narrative point of view is external subjective narrator. The plot is dramatic. The problem is that there is a food shortage for koalas, so Micky and Goofy have to find what the problem is, and then solve it. 
 First moral is "You have to solve the problem when you have a problem. Do not avoid or ignore it." Second moral is "Be helpful if you have the ability." The author use easy words, short sentences, and dialogue.

 The reason that I choose this book is that I was attracted by Micky, so I think name is very important. The name of book presents the first sight, and it will decide whether the book is impressive or not. The beginning is that Micky and Goofy went to zoo to see koalas, but they found something wrong. I think this kind of theme is very close to children because children love animals and zoos. Therefore, they will be more interested in this book. Micky and Goofy go to Australia, find Dingo Dan, and help him to solve the problem. Finally, they go back, and children can enjoy seeing koalas. They don't have to worry that kolas have food shortage, and they cannot see koalas. Therefore, children can learn two things according this book. First, problem has to be solved, and do not avoid it. Second, helping others sometimes is a good thing, so children should not refuse to help others when they have ability. I think these two things are both important to children. All of the pictures in the book are colorful and exquisite, so I think children will like it. In the end of book, the author put some interesting pictures and essays to improve children's knowledge, and I think it is very helpful to children while they are learning language or knowledge. When children read the book which they are interested in, they won't be tired. What's more, they want more! Therefore, I think other authors can add some interesting information in the end of book, so children can learn more after read a book.

關於華語口語與表達這件事-個人自我評量

(1)認為什麼是華語口語與表達課程的意義?為何需要學習?

我認為,華語口語與表達的意義就是...教人家如何發華語語音,以及如何表達出來。我需要學習這課程,因為,我從小學習注音,但是只專注學習怎麼發音,卻不知道注音的其他奧妙,因此,身為一個專業的台灣人,應該要知道這些看似基礎但卻沒有什麼人知道的知識。更何況,這堂課或許能夠改正原本錯誤的發音,對無法改正發音的人,是一大好處。

(2)教學方法、教材使用、課程安排、教學評量這四方面,給你的影響?

在教學方面,我真的算是第一次遇到如此的上課方式,不過後來慢慢適應,這樣的討論教學方式,其實讓我思考了很多,讀完文章之後,不能只是讀完,還要經過思考、咀嚼之後,才能產生最後的結論。教材方面,其中幾篇文章,讓我回憶起國中的生物學美好回憶,因此,讀那幾章的時候,我的精神超好,效率超高。課程安排方面,有特別排過的順序,有比較容易理解艱深的內容,因為都有連接性。

(3)在未來,你會如何運用所學?

在生活中,只要遇到有同學或朋友講話不標準,我跟某位就會犯毛病,開始討論這算是哪方面的錯誤,順便複習上課內容,遇到忘記的,就回去找答案,最後,再看情況是否跟那位同學說,要是說了,就能達到宣傳的效果,要是不說,就當我們又複習了一次。

(4)自評滿分10分,會給自己幾分?

我要給個7分,因為,雖然我上課不太踴躍發言,期中也不是考很好,但是,我課前的閱讀文章都有讀完,雖然有讀跟沒讀差不多...有點難懂,上課討論雖然沒帶筆電,但是我應該也是好好地善用文章、手機,努力的查詢資料,每個禮拜的部落格我也都是準時交,雖然大部分都是熬夜完成,但是結果還是準時喔~而且我也寫得滿認真的,表格都自己畫!

關於華語口語與表達這件事-期末了(2)


        個人認為,第二組的簡報很不錯,標題滿聳動的,那整頁的流行異國用詞記憶點很高、也很吸引人,導致我們下課後持續了整整兩天的使用風潮,組員們也是臨危不亂,根本冷靜,coogle檢視的也滿詳細的,還有放上比較,更容易了解。第四組的部分,簡報內容也是簡單明瞭,介紹coogle的時候,直接採用老師的建議,站在講台上講解,果然比較吸引觀眾的目光,整個就是準備好的樣子,最後的活動時間很特別,除了一般的搶答題之外,還有模仿外國人口音的趣味活動,這活動真的很特別,同學們的口音真的也滿好笑的,除此之外,采妮誤打誤撞也是像個三分,看來她真的很適合跟外國人相處。第四組的團隊精神也很厲害,組員一猶豫,馬上就有人幫忙,一種即刻救援的概念,很有默契。

        其實我們這組,上禮拜也有點小出錯,因此,每個人有點小錯我想都是可以接受的,只是,在報告前有組員小失蹤、忘記帶列印完的講義,真的也是可以改進的,還有一個小小點,不知道是有這個別稱還是...怎樣的,我有看到聲母合介法?其實這些小小細節,我也很需要注意。

        大家都滿有創意的,有比賽的活動、猜猜看的活動,還有還有學習新知識的活動,我們組的問題+小小計時比賽,好像顯得沒那麼突出,還有,報告者的個性、自嗨功力真的很重要,這嚴重地影響到觀眾對整體報告的印象,因此,我覺得我報告的時候,必須拿出隱藏版的自己,現出神經病+自嗨的人格,這樣觀眾才會覺得報告有活力,加深觀眾們的印象。

         Coogle裡面的比較方面,以後的報告也能考慮一下,不管是什麼,只要與其他相對應的資訊相比,其中的優缺點就會很清楚,更好記憶。站在台上的時候,需要很有自信,就像老師說的,需要離開講桌的保護,觀眾才會感受到報告者的強大氣場,才會好奇報告的內容,不會興致缺缺,雖然,我還是無法想像離開它的感覺...我想我還需要點時間適應+練習。

時間過得真快阿...明明感覺才剛開學,但是竟然已經要暑假了,每科都是考前最後一堂課,大家都很嗨,但是也滿感傷的...因為,以後不一定會再遇到老師,有同學當天就發文,說已經開始想念老師了,當下我也有同感,大家都是一樣的反應阿...最後,希望期末都能夠過關~~~

關於華語口語與表達這件事-期末了


準備過程:

        我們三人呢...不知道從哪天開始準備,一開始先動了coogle,最先從四大方向做起,慢慢延伸,有一條藍綠色的線延伸了好多,但是,下面的黃色線好可憐,只有少少的幾個字,我們也想不出其他東西,整個畫面看起來滿詭異的,然後弄了幾天之後,開始做簡報,一直到報告完,這中間大概一個禮拜吧...但是因為效率太低,所以我們的時間根本不夠用。

討論心得:

        我們討論的時候,因為認知不同、知識不足,所以在準備上很有障礙,但是,最困擾我們的應該還是問題跟活動,我真的很想把別的老師的活動搬到這裡來,但是,又顯得不原創,雖然不會有人知道...但是那些活動又好像不太適合這堂課,太傷腦筋了!!!幸好,某位隊員很給力的突發奇想,讓大家比賽念注音,我們還現場試了一次,發現真的很困難,我連看著鍵盤念都會卡住...我好像真的不是台灣人,好傷心。

活動設計:

我們的小活動很簡單,就是讓大家複習下我們的母語,因為,我們發現,英文都能完整背出來,但是注音卻無法,可能是因為我們在幼稚園的時候學,但是後來卻沒有繼續複習,導致現在大家都不會背,限時就會比較刺激,沒有任何幫助的情況下,對大家都很公平,而且,這活動只是歡樂一下,背不好其實不會怎麼樣的。

省思:

        看完學姊們的報告,我們也報告完了之後,有點後悔這麼早報告,但是又很慶幸已經報告完了,心情很矛盾,但是報告完也說明,真的要好好準備,不要太有自信了阿...一直以為在電腦前演練就夠了,但是,真的不太夠,而且,觀眾的反應真的很重要...建議下次的組別可以好笑一點,觀眾會買單的,至少我會!不過這也苦了我們,畢竟,本人是不怎麼好笑的,我們都走文靜、害羞路線。

        題外話,今天剪完頭髮,被哥哥們笑,我好傷心...這顆香菇頭可是剪了我留了快兩年的頭髮ㄟ!!!這是十八年來的第一顆短髮,還坐在位子上快五個小時...唉阿...下次一定要好好的考慮再剪,不然又要被笑,我已經做好被其他人笑得準備了,不過,還是麻煩嘴下留情,我真的覺得很哀怨,被媽媽跟設計師騙了,她們明明都說我這樣很可愛的。
